Despite no major updates in recent times, one of the latter updates of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild was allowing gamers to crouch and become virtually undetectable. Not only this, but crouching in The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild also enables gamers to reach smaller areas of the map where many goodies can be found.
If you’ve been curious about how to reach the nooks and crannies of Zelda’s beautiful map or earn yourself a few more seconds to navigate past a strolling beast, we’ve put together this short guide on how to crouch in BOTW and why you should!
How To Crouch Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Crouching in Zelda: Breath Of The Wild is a smart tactic to mitigate any risks when you are a little nervous about a monster camp or an enemy beast. By crouching, you will make yourself harder to detect and ultimately save your life!
To crouch in Breath Of The Wild, follow these 3 simple steps:
- Step 1: Click the left stick on your Joy-Con controller.
- Step 2: Move the left stick forwards, backwards, left or right to move whilst crouching.
- Step 3: To un-crouch, click the left stick once more.
As much as charging forth with your sword raised might seem like the best option to tackle adversity in BOTW, it’s always good to remember that there is more than one way to scout an enemy camp. By crouching with Link, you will remain out of sight of the Bokoblins as you figure out the best way to dispatch them swiftly.
Once you are crouching, you can tactfully work your way through the horde of Bokoblins without them barely noticing you tearing through them!
