How To Unlock Potions in Hogwarts Legacy?
To unlock potions in Hogwarts Legacy, you must start the ‘Potions Class’ main quest where you will take your first steps towards learning how to brew the finest concoctions. Upon starting the game, the ‘Potions Class’ quest will not be immediately available. However, if you focus on the main storyline from the get-go, this quest will become available after about 15 to 20 minutes of gameplay.
During the ‘Potions Class’, Professor Sharp will explain everything there is to know about Potions, their ingredients and how to brew them. You will be required to brew your own Wiggenwald potion during the session and once that has been done, Potions will become available within your Tools Wheel.
From here, you will have free reign to brew any potion you like and can start collecting the necessary ingredients required for each one. To collect basic ingredients for brewing potions, you can head on over to J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade.
However, for the slightly more obscure ingredients, you will need to venture into the forbidden forest (with a few Wiggenwald at hand).
