Proudly British, the BraZen Puma adopts everything you love about British engineering and installs that into a racing seat that’s just as comfortable as it is fierce. There’s a sturdy framework, an extremely comfortable design and the promise of a gaming chair that will be extremely kind to your body during long hours of gameplay.
But then it all goes wrong with the speakers (for some!)

Brazen Puma Gaming Chair Design
Straight out of the UK, the BraZen Puma sports a stereotypical British exterior. It’s bold, it’s brave, and it’s extremely thickly padded. It’s everything you would imagine a UK gaming chair to look like, with an immediate sense of strength and durability.
Deftly crafted, the BraZen Puma has an edgy design with piping on the armrests and a large logo on the headrest. Moulded in all the right places, the shape of the chair will match most body types and is supported by reinforced steel with a combination of faux leather on the sides and PU mesh across your spine and lower back.
The combination of the two lends towards improving breathability, which is a common problem will full faux leather chairs – a big win for the Puma.
As a concave racing seat, the BraZen Puma gaming chair stands between 114-124cm tall, 64cm wide and 60cm deep. With a petite frame that holds a maximum weight of up to 120kg, adults will really struggle to get comfortable, making the Puma best suited for gamers of up to 12 years old.
Available in eight colour combinations, including grey, blue, white, pink, red, green, yellow and purple, there’s quite literally a colour for everyone.
Brazen Puma Features & Specifications
For features, while the Puma offers some cool additions, such as built-in Bluetooth speakers, the actual quality of the chair build is probably the best feature here.
There’s a 360-degree swivel, 5x heavy-duty castors which make for extreme mobility and a zero-compromise approach to the materials that have been used. But, that’s about where the features worth noting end.
Firstly, there is no back recliner mechanism which leaves you only with the ability to tilt the chair backwards and forwards slightly. This is not a problem; however, a recliner mechanism is a fairly standard practice. Then, there is no adjustable lumbar support or lumbar cushions which also make for a limited experience.
This is before you get to the speakers. Oh my, BraZen really effed up here.
For what could have been a superb addition, many customer reviews (myself included) have cited that the speakers make an awful cracking noise when connected out of the box. I had to purchase a separate 3.5mm jack that actually slotted into the connection more tightly to make the speakers work as they should have done.
It’s an absolute travesty that the flagship feature of the chair doesn’t work properly considering the rest of the chair is so damn good.
Comfortability & Customisation
Despite the lacking recliner mechanism, the BraZen Puma outperforms many other gaming chairs for comfort within this price range. From its super solid framework to its incredibly comfortable armrests, if you like to sit upright, you’ll have a great time with the Puma.
My physiotherapist will curse me for saying this; however, I can actually forgive the BraZen Puma slightly for not including adjustable lumbar or back support. The overall shape of the chair seems to be near perfect, and the sturdiness actually works well to support the ergonomics of the chair. It actually makes me wonder why so many gaming chairs fail to nail the design of the chair straight out of the box.
Overall, there’s a real coziness when sitting within the BraZen Puma.
That said, if you plan on taking a nap during loading screens, you will find the BraZen Puma incredibly uncomfortable. For this, I would recommend ONEX gaming chairs which do not come with speakers but cater much more to the lazy gamer.
Brazen Puma Build Quality & Assembly
As already stated, the build quality of the BraZen Puma PC gaming chair is second to none. The steel framework is extremely solid, and the moulding of the chair is nearly perfect. The fact that the BraZen Puma is still relatively comfortable without a recliner mechanism or adjustable lumbar support is a testament to the quality of the build.
While the gas lift is only class 3 rated, gamers under 100-120kg will have no problem adjusting the chair’s height. There will also be minimal sinkage as you play your games.
As for the chair’s materials, the faux leather covering is extremely high in density which can take a beating, and there’s enough padding to last you a fair few years. The BraZen Puma has, without question, been made for the long haul.
For assembly, the BraZen Puma is also practically buildable with a blindfold. The instructions are super clear, and there are minimal components to assemble. The speakers are already set up for you, and assembling the chair will take around 20 minutes with one person. Unlike rival chairs such as Andaseat, the BraZen Puma absolutely smashes all over its competitors in the assembly department.
Brazen Puma Gaming Chair Price & Value
Priced at $289.95 on Amazon, the BraZen Puma PC Gaming Chair is not exactly cheap. But it’s not all too expensive either. Sitting directly between entry-level gaming chairs and mid-range options, the BraZen Puma makes a solid attempt at introducing some cool features while remaining relatively affordable.
Considering that many other gaming chairs within this price range are not as well manufactured and do not come with Bluetooth speakers, there is plenty of value here if you are purchasing for your children or younger teenagers – and are happy to fiddle around a little.
In addition, BraZen will often frequently advertise sales and provide both student and youth discounts for gamers between the ages of 16-26 years old. With a money-back guarantee program as well, there is less of a risk when buying the BraZen Puma.
However, for adults over 5ft 10 inches, you should steer clear of the BraZen Puma. There is a multitude of alternative options that are suitable for your height, such as Alfordson gaming chairs, which also come with cool features too.
Brazen Puma Gaming Chair Review Verdict
Overall, the BraZen Puma gaming chair makes a solid attempt at providing additional features while keeping your costs to a minimum. The chair itself is built extremely well, and there is a sturdiness to the framework that is quite rare in this price bracket.
However, I would have much preferred for the Puma to be the chair it is supposed to be rather than trying to tack on extra functions such as speakers, which, quite frankly, won’t work very well unless you buy an additional cable.
It’s actually the ”cool” parts that really let the chair down here, which makes the overall experience feel like an afterthought rather than a centrepiece. Once the speakers do work, they are great. But it’s not a nice feeling to fix something straight out of the box.
If you are a little handy with electronics, the BraZen Puma will stand strong for many hours of gaming for your kids or younger teenagers. However, for anyone who wants a sturdy gaming chair with awesome speakers, there are better options available.
